Was ist eine totale Ordnung?

Eine totale Ordnung ist eine partielle Ordnung, in der je zwei Elemente vergleichbar sind.

$$ \forall a,b:\ a\le b\lor b\le a. $$

Beispiel: $\le$ auf $\mathbb R$.
